ASEAN Student Contest on Information Security 2024
ASCIS 2024 is the 17th time that the Student Contest on Information Security has been organized in Vietnam and the 6th time open to ASEAN countries.
For registration, students from all institutes, universities, colleges throughout Vietnam and other ASEAN countries are eligible to register for participating in the contest. The maximum member of each team is no more than 4. The contest consists of 2 rounds
The Qualifying round
On Oct 05th, 2024 the Qualifying round officially took place lasting for 8 hours with 248 teams from 37 institutes in Vietnam and 26 institutes of ASEAN countries .
All teams participating online.
The Final round
The Final round was held on Oct 19th, 2024 in 8 hour
There were 56 teams from Vietnam participating onsite and 27 teams from ASEAN participating online.
Divided into 2 stages: "Jeopardy" and "Attack-Defense"
In the end, ASCIS 2024 found out its winners and runners-up:
- Team UIT.Efficiency won First Prize for Jeopard
- Team KMA.Orange won First Prize for Attack-Defense
