ASEAN Student Contest on Information Security 2022
ASCIS 2022 is the 15th time that the Student Contest on Information Security has been organized in Vietnam and the 4rth time open to ASEAN countries.
For registration, students from all institutes, universities, colleges throughout Vietnam and other ASEAN countries are eligible to register for participating in the contest. The maximum member of each team is no more than 4. The contest consists of 3 rounds
The Starting round
On Sept 24th, 2022 the Starting round officially took place lasting for 4 hours. Upto 161 teams competed virtually in this round in which 108 teams from 29 institutes in Vietnam and 56 teams from 22 institutes of ASEAN countries (Laos, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Brunei and Thailand).
The Qualifying round
On Oct 15th, 2022 the Qualifying round officially took place lasting for 8 hours with 72 teams from 29 institutes in Vietnam and 40 teams from 17 institutes of ASEAN countries (Laos, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand).
The Final round
The Final round was held on Nov 05th, 2022 in form of Attack and Defense lasting for 8 hours with 10 teams form Vietnam and 10 teams from other ASEAN countries.
In the end, ASCIS 2022 found out its winners and runners-up:
- The first prize: UIT.pawf3ct (UIT)
- The second prize: ISIT-DTU1 (DTU)
- The third prize: KMA.L3N0V0 (ACTVN)
